HCMPL Volunteer Program

We love when our community members want to be more active in the library! There are so many ways you can volunteer your time to help our library grow.

Volunteers help with:

  • creating displays and decorating the library for events
  • working with patrons to troubleshoot technology problems
  • routine daily library tasks such as shelving
  • leading small workshops helping patrons with Libby, Hoopla, or other library resources.

There are a limited number of volunteer positions available, and submission of an application does not guarantee placement in the program.

Teen Volunteers (13-17) will need a legal guardian to complete this form with them. We appreciate your interest in volunteering at your library! There are limited number of volunteer positions available, and submission of an application does not guarantee a position.
